Run, walk, or bike along this 11 mile nature trail which winds through the Orange Beach, the Gulf State Park, and Gulf shores. Explore the timeless beauty of the Butterfly Garden, the mystical Freshwater Marshes and the Coastal Hardwood Swamps. Catch a glimpse of a Bobcat on the Twin Bridges or a White Tailed Deer on Gulf Oak Ridge. View an Alligator basking in the sun and be sure to bring your camera to capture the adventure! The Park at OWA
The Park at OWA is the newest addition to the Alabama Gulf Coast. The amusement park features 21 state-of-the-art rides. General admission is $34.99 and there are discounts for children and seniors. It is free to enjoy the retail and dining area of OWA. Visit OWA!Â
Fort Morgan
Completed in 1834, Fort Morgan was active during four wars: the Spanish-American War, World Wars I and II, and most famously for the Civil War and The Battle of Mobile Bay where Union Admiral David Farragut “damned the torpedoes” and went “full speed ahead”. The fort is at the mouth of Mobile Bay 22 miles west along Fort Morgan Parkway in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Some scholars regard it as “one of the finest examples of military architecture in the New World.” Today explorers are able to take tours of the tunnels and enjoy reenactments. Visit Fort Morgan!
Gulf State Park Pier
You don’t have to enjoy fishing to enjoy the Gulf State Park Pier! At 1540 feet long, this is the longest pier in the Gulf of Mexico. The pier is a great spot to see the Gulf Shores beaches from the water, take photos, sightsee, and of course FISH! Visit the Gulf State Park Pier!
Waterville USA
Waterville USA is a 20 – acre Water and Amusement Park in the heart of Gulf Shores, complete with water rides, a rollercoaster, mini golf, go-carts, an arcade and much more. Thrill seekers can take plunge down the Black Widow, surf on the Flow Rider, or experience the rush of the Cannonball Run. Flora-Bama
The “World Famous” Flora-Bama Lounge and Package is situated on the beach at the Alabama/Florida state line and is often referred to as the “Last American Roadhouse.” Rebuilt in mid 2012 after Hurricane Ivan, “the Bama” is host to various events such as the Annual Interstate Mullet Toss. Year around, this is the best spot to hear local musicians. It’s family friendly during the day, but once the sun sets, find a sitter and put on your dancin’ shoes. Visit the Flora-Bama!

Located just 4 miles from the beach up Highway 59, Pelican Place is spot to find all of your beach accessories and necessities. Parasailing
There are numerous parasailing companies in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach that would love the opportunity to pull you along our beautiful Gulf Coast Beaches. There is nothing quite like observing the area from 600 ft in the sky. Enjoy spectacular views of our emerald waters and tropical beaches – if you are lucky you may even see a dolphin! It is a peaceful, breath taking experience.
Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo
The zoo is tucked away just blocks from the beach and is home to more than 290 animals. Lions, tigers, bears, monkeys and macaws are just some of the creatures that inhabit this Gulf Coast oasis. The Track
Just 3 miles North of the beautiful Gulf Shores beaches on Highway 59 you will discover your family headquarters for FUN.
